So this is a little late but last Tuesday we went to Mall of America to meet Super Why! It was a little bit of a wait in line but Kaitlyn enjoyed it. I made a layout using MDS. I would also like to add some 3D items to this layout. Maybe I could digitally add Red to the photo.
I love my Stampin' Up! Big shot. I was playing with the new Big Shot adhesive sheets and they are really fun and easy to use. I used the new Northern Frost Decorative Strip Die with Whisper White card stock I cut out a strip of card stock to fit the die and did the same with the adhesive sheets. I ran this through my Big Shot and I had self stick snowflakes. So you can imagine there are so many fun things to do with these adhesive sheets. They really make intricate dies easy to mount on projects. If you click on the links above you can view any of the products I mentioned. Here is a card I made using the Frost Decorative Die with adhesive sheets. I used Night of Navy and Cherry Cobbler for my colors. The snowmen are from the Holiday Lineup stamp set.
Working with My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up! If you haven't tried it you should. If you have one of those days like me where it is hard for you to be creative MDS makes it easy. You can make your own layouts or use the templates they have. It doesn't take long to create a layout and if you don't like something it is so easy to change it out. You can do everything in one program from cropping your photo to changing photo effects and much more. So I had a lot of fun creating my first page. I have been working on catching up on my daughters scrap book and now if I want to setup a page without cutting any paper I can make a layout in MDS and turn it into a traditional layout. Once I catch up I will experiment making hybrid pages and only digital pages. You can view my Halloween layout by clicking on the link below.
